About the Firm

Founded in 1992, Schoenberg Law Office is a defense firm engaged in the practice of employment and labor law on behalf of Pennsylvania and New Jersey based employers. Practice areas include preventive counseling, employment litigation, labor relations, training and investigations. Schoenberg Law Office also serves as local counsel to law firms headquartered in other jurisdictions, including New York, Maryland, Missouri and Washington D.C.

Attorney owners Claude and Patricia Schoenberg graduated in 1989 from Duke University School of Law, where Patricia was a member of the Law Journal.

Claude speaks frequently to business groups, on such topics as Hiring Without Fear, Avoiding Workplace Claims and Good Hiring Practices, Holding Employees Accountable and The Seven Tests of Discharging for Just Cause.

Of Counsel Attorney Marjorie Ochroch

Marjorie is a seasoned corporate and transactional attorney who represents our clients in connection with buy/sell agreements and shareholder operating agreements.

Of Counsel Attorney Joseph Hirsch

Bar Admissions: Pennsylvania (1992), EDPA (1993).

Education: Villanova University School of Law, J.D. (1992); Brandeis University, B.A. (1987).

Experience: Joseph Hirsch has been serving clients throughout the Delaware Valley, providing outstanding legal representation in a broad range of matters including employment law, commercial law, real estate, and general litigation. He has represented individuals, local and regional businesses, as well as national corporations.

Joe is primarily a litigator on behalf of our clients. Joe secured a special injunction in defense of our client’s trade secrets in the matter of Edward D. Jones & Co., LP v. Robert J. Massorni, Jr. (CCP Adams County 2011).

Of Counsel Attorney Kay Sickles

Bar Admissions: New Jersey (1994), Pennsylvania (1995), Eastern District of Pennsylvania and other various federal district courts, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Ninth Circuits.

Education: University of Pennsylvania Law School J.D. (1994); Colgate University B.A. (1991).

Awards: Super Lawyers "PA Rising Stars" (2005-2008).

Experience: Over the past 20 years, Kay has developed a general litigation practice, handling diverse matters arising out of products liability, commercial law, contract negotiations and disputes, wage and hour issues, and alleged consumer and securities law violations.

Kay also has in-house counsel experience, in particular, negotiating vendor agreements and undertaking IT security compliance.
